Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ImgMonk (accessible via imgmonk.com or local deployment, published by ImgMonk), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must refrain from using the tools.

Execution Model: By using our tools, you acknowledge that all code execution (including image compression, cropping, and conversion) is processed locally on your device by your browser. No files are uploaded to ImgMonk's servers.

Use License

We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the website utilities under the following conditions:

  • Personal & Commercial Use: You are fully permitted to use the tools to process, convert, crop, and compress images for personal, artistic, educational, or commercial purposes.
  • No Cost: The service is provided 100% free of charge. No payment demands or subscription requests will ever be initiated by ImgMonk for these core web utilities.
  • No Reverse Engineering: You may not copy, scrape, package, or distribute the proprietary visual assets, logos, and site styles of ImgMonk without direct permission from ImgMonk.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The services and utilities on ImgMonk are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind.

While we test our tools extensively for stability, ImgMonk makes no guarantees that:

  • The tools will meet your specific technical requirements.
  • The conversion quality will always be visually lossless for all camera RAW or PSD files.
  • The browser sandbox will not crash when processing exceptionally large files.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ImgMonk and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

  • The use or inability to use the tools.
  • Any local data loss occurring during file download or browser tab crashes.
  • Hardware strain resulting from processing massive batch image queues locally.

Prohibited Activities

When using ImgMonk, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to overload, crash, or interfere with the host servers serving the static assets.
  • Use automated bots or scripts to scrape pages or mock traffic, causing undue bandwidth charges.
  • Rebrand our client-side software interface as your own paid service.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ImgMonk operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
